Four years ago I was beginning to prep for the big day.

Hair appointments, nails, posting wedding signs, trying not to stress that our wedding cake was lost on back roads in a car that was about to run out of gas, getting changed into my wedding dress in a tent and doing make up under a park pavilion with box fans trying to keep us cool...

I wanted a laid back outdoor wedding and we definitely got that! Though perhaps a bit hotter than our ideal.... but that's what you get for planning an outdoor wedding in Missouri in August so you can rush off to Idaho in time to start school.

Our ceremony was held at Ritter Springs Park, which I discovered while on a birding field trip in ornithology class. And then it was on to the Dodson farm to celebrate with family and friends. Between the Orzechowskis and Austin we were provided with some quality contra dance music and we danced until the cows came home... Or something like that.

It was a fabulous day. And a nice start to our life together.

The last four years have been the best of my life. Happy anniversary hubby!
