There is now a six year old amongst us.
Terribly cute, sweet & sensitive, avid tree climber, cheerful helper, lover of horses, silly & wiggly, bright blue eyes, happy coloring & cutting for hours on end, creative, the most loving big sister, conscientious, absent minded, striving to please, bug lover, tender & big-hearted, book lover, the best first child.
When I was One, I had just begun.
When I was Two, I was nearly new.
When I was Three, I was hardly me.
When I was Four, I was not much more.
When I was Five, I was just alive.
But now I am Six, I'm as clever as clever. So I think I'll be six now for ever and ever.

Your description of dear Margaret sounds a lot like a beloved eight-year-old I met two decades ago ;)
