I had a hard time finding before pictures of this rather repressive wall. Probably because I never painted it (provided motivation to get it out as soon as possible) and therefore I avoided having it in pictures as much as possible. But this picture (taken shortly after we moved in) can give you an idea of what it was like before:

Stay tuned for future progress including putting up trim, painting, building an island with a dishwasher and (much farther down the road) wood floors. Right now I'm just reveling in the wide open spaces.
Congrats on taking out the wall! I am looking forward to the finished product. Do you guys want to try to get together this weekend? I will have Brent give Clay a call.
