chocolate cake & bright eyes

Miss Harriet, our little sunshine, is O*N*E!

We celebrated with the traditional Chocolate Cake and presents in pillowcases.  Also, according to tradition, Hattie got the privilege of licking the beaters.

 

 Hattie loves sleeping, her blankie, sucking on her fingers and her crib
(more than any of our other babies.....being so beautiful requires a lot of beauty sleep!)

She loves food and making big messes. 

She loves her siblings an unbelievable amount. Especially big sister Margaret who spends so much time holding & playing with her.

 

She loves being outside and chasing animals around.

She loves riding horses, of all shapes & sizes. They make her laugh every time.

 

She loves crawling everywhere and getting into everything and being in the thick of things.

(No signs of walking yet!)

 

She loves making silly faces and making other people laugh.

She loves music and is already quite proficient at the hand drums & piano.

Her dance moves are beyond compare as well.

She loves all these things and more. In fact, she's just a big fan of life in general. Our bright, bubbly, happy-go-lucky girl. And we're a big fan of her. Happy Birthday, Hattie!
