Painting my fingernails (for the first time in ...6 years?) a shocking red, to see the delight in my daughter's eyes.
Blueberry pancakes & coffee (in my favorite cup, covered in marine creatures).
Scanning & restoring piles and piles of old family photos.
Pony rides in the backyard.
Red wine.
G.K. Chesterton Father Brown stories.

haha. Well, that's what sisters are for, right? And I'm glad it doesn't lower your estimation of me otherwise. Now, I'll just have to hop on photoshop and fix that up =)
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me: I desperately need to paint my nails! I'm like chopped liver to Paschelle lately.
ReplyDeleteHave you read One Thousand Gifts yet? It's all about the little things. (Plus it has a bird on it, so...) And that's a lovely shade of red!
